About the role

Mainstream primary school in Tower Hamlets is looking for a Year 4 Teaching assistant to join their team on a full time basis from January until the end of the academic year.

You will be supporting the class teacher throughout the day wherever needed as well as providing 1:1, Small group and general support to pupils within the classroom.

There are pupils in the classroom who have additional needs and therefore you would be supporting these children where needed also.

You should-

-Have experience working with children

-Be able to work well in a team and work well off your own initiative

-Have strong communication, organisation and time management skills

-Be able to work with children both 1-1 and in small groups

The school is a one form entry mainstream primary school.

Although strong experience working as a TA is beneficial to the school, they are looking for individuals who are keen to learn and develop, who are passionate and show enthusiasm.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Year 4 Teaching Assistant you will:

• Have a DBS on the updated service

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• Prior experience working with children
