Smart Teachers are recruiting for a Year 1 Teacher to work in a Independent school in the Westminster area.
About the role
- Role will be maternity cover until the end of the year
- You will be expected to plan and deliver lessons for a Year 1 class
- Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum and previous experience in a prep school is required
- Your focus will be on key areas such as literacy and numeracy, certain subjects will be covered by specialist teachers

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Year 1 Teacher you will:
- Have an enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service
- Have previous experience working in an independent school
- Strong understanding of the curriculum
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Must have qualified teacher status (QTS)
