Trainee Teaching Assistant

Smart Teachers are recruiting for Trainee Teaching Assistants to work in Primary Schools in Hammersmith & Fulham.

About the role

• Teaching Assistants are required on a daily, short term and long-term basis, depending on suitable candidates preferences
• Roles will range from general Teaching Assistants and roles supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs
• Previous experience working in schools not required; training will be provided and Smart Teachers will secure you a paid working placement
• General hours are 8.30am-16:00pm

• Schools range from local authority schools, faith schools and independent schools
• The majority of schools in Westminster hold a 'Good' Ofsted rating
• Some schools offer onsite parking or have good transport links

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Trainee Teaching Assistant you will:

• Be willing to obtain an enhanced child workforce DBS

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• Complete the National Teaching Assistant Programme, provided by Smart Teachers
