About the role
The role of a Teaching Assistant is vital in the day-to-day running of schools. The best Teaching Assistants have excellent communication skills and are able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff, quickly and effectively.
Depending on the role and the school, you will be working with the class teacher to manage behaviour, support with interventions, and provide additional support to children. You will assist the class teacher with recording and reporting on pupil progress and behaviour, and help ensure that children are making good progress in the classroom.

A secondary special school in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets for students aged 11 to 19 with severe and profound and multiple learning difficulties. A significant proportion of the learners have additional sensory and physical impairments.
