About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as Trainee Teaching Assistants in primary schools across Newham. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates with a passion for education who are looking to gain valuable experience in a supportive and dynamic environment.
As a Trainee Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support the learning and development of students. Your role will involve working with small groups or one-on-one with pupils, helping to deliver lessons, and providing additional support to those who need it. You will also assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment and help with classroom management, lesson planning, and assessment.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Trainee Teaching Assistant you will:
- A degree in a core subject (English, Mathematics, Science) is highly desirable
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive attitude, patience, and the ability to work well in a team
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Some experience working with children (voluntary or paid) is beneficial but not essential
