Teaching Assistant

Smart Teachers are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a 'Good' school in Willesden, Brent.

About the role

• Teaching Assistant required to join a primary school in Willesden in January 2024 (until July 2025)
• Teaching Assistant required to work as a 1:1 for a pupil in Year 1
• Pupil can become easily distracted so school require someone who can be consistent in their expectations and help child remain on task
• Full time role, hours 08:30-15:30pm

• Mainstream school with their own on site ARP Unit

• School located a short walk from Willesden/Harlesden stations and has an onsite car park

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will:

• Previous experience working with pupils with ASD is desriable but not essential

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• Hold an enhanced DBS and be able to obtain two professional references
