Smart Teachers are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a large primary school in Queen's Park.
About the role
- Teaching Assistants are required to join a 'Good' school in Queen's Park until July 2025 - potentially longer
- Teaching Assistant is required to work in a Year 1 class where they will support a pupil on a 1:1 basis
- Pupil is is described as being social but can find it hard to interact with his peers and can be prone to displaying challenging behaviour
- School seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant who is calm, can set clear expectations and a good communicator
- Full time role, hours 08:30-15:30pm

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN is desirable
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Hold an enhanced DBS
