About the role
Mainstream primary school in Hackney are looking for a teaching assistant to work from Reception - Year 3 supporting where needed.
Your roles will include-
-Supporting pupils with SEN when and where needed
-Carrying out phonics interventions working both 1-2-1 and in small groups, therefore RWI Phonics experience is essential
-Supporting the class teacher throughout the day
-Assisting with school trips, preparing lessons and supporting with behaviour management

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant- January Start you will:
- Have a DBS on the updated service or be willing to apply for one
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Prior experience working with children
- Experience with RWI phonics
- Experience working with SEN
Key responsibilities
As Teaching Assistant- January Start you will be responsible for:
- Provide support to the teacher and assist pupils with their learning
- Support pupils with SEN
