Full time Reception TA needed to work in Mainstream primary school in Hackney.

About the role

A mainstream primary school in Hackney is looking to appoint an experienced reception TA with an immediate start date until at least July 2025.

You will be-

- Supporting pupils in the classroom where needed, being able to identify where support is needed and work off your own initiative

- Working alongside SEN pupils on a 1-2-1 and small group settings basis

- Assisting the class teacher where needed

-Carrying out learning interventions with pupils

- Assisting with playground, lunch duties and school trips when needed

They are looking for a teaching assistant who has a genuine care for working in education with children, someone who can work off their own initiative and someone who is confident in their ability to support pupils and staff.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Reception Teaching assistant - Hackney you will:

  • Have a DBS on the updated service or be willing to apply for one
  • Be able to work Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 16:00

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Prior experience working with children

Key responsibilities

As Reception Teaching assistant - Hackney you will be responsible for:

  • Provide support to the teacher and assist pupils with their learning
