Job Title: SEN Teacher – Full-Time Position
Location: Stratford, East London
Salary: £34,513 - £51,242 per annum
Start Date: January 2025
About the role
This role involves working with a small class of six students with a range of profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), severe learning disabilities, sensory impairments, and medical conditions. These students also present with challenging behaviour and require a highly supportive and structured learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver tailored lesson plans that meet the unique needs of each student
- Employ strategies to support students with sensory impairments and severe learning difficulties
- Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviors effectively, fostering a safe and nurturing classroom environment
- Work closely with support staff and specialists to provide individualized educational support
- Monitor and report on student progress, adapting teaching methods to help each child achieve their potential
About the school
The Ofsted rated "Outstanding" school provides specialised facilities for up to 50 students with sensory and medical needs. It features dedicated sensory and soft play rooms, spacious classrooms equipped with tracking hoists, and outdoor equipment designed to support students with greater independent mobility.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
