A partner primary school in Hackney are looking to appoint 2 SEN Teaching assistants to work with them from January on a full time basis.

08:30 - 16:00
About the role
A mainstream primary school in Hackney are looking to appoint 2 Teaching assistants to start with them from January until July 2025.
This will be across different year groups in KS1 and KS2, and therefore your preference will be considered.
You will be working with pupils with autism on a 1-2-1 basis supporting them in the classroom throughout the day.
You will-
-Be supporting the pupil with their learning where needed
-Be able to identify the pupils needs throughout the day
-Work with the class teacher to support the pupils learning and adjust work where needed
-Support the class teacher when needed, and work collaboratively with other members of staff
You should have experience working with SEN pupils in a classroom setting

The school is a two form entry mainstream primary school based in Hackney.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of SEN Teaching Assistants you will:
- Have a DBS on the updated service
- Be able to work Monday-Friday from September
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Experience working with SEN pupils
Key responsibilities
As SEN Teaching Assistants you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the pupil in the classroom throughout the day
- Working with the class teacher to ensure the pupil is receiving all the support needed
