About the role
Special educational needs (SEN) Teaching assistants needed to work in mainstream primary schools.
We are looking for SEN TA's to join our agency working in our partner primary schools in and around Tower Hamlets.
We have full time roles, Monday - Friday 08:30 - 16:00 available and part time supply work available.
You should-
-Have experience working with children with SEN
-Be confident working on a 1-2-1 basis with children with special needs
-Be able to adapt to different environments quickly
-Be confident dealing with children with different levels of needs and have a strong understanding of special needs and how to work with this
-Be able to follow instructions, work as a team and be proactive working off your own initiative
-Have a positive attitude and a strong passion working with SEN
About the school
All schools are mainstream primary schools in Tower Hamlets.
Our partner primary schools expect staff to be punctual, organised and passionate in their work.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of SEN Teaching assistant you will:
- Have a DBS on the updated service or be willing to apply for one
- Have experience working with special needs
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Prior experience working with children with SEN
