SEN Teaching Assistant

Smart Teachers are recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant for a large Primary School in Barking and Dagenham, to start in January.

About the role

• The role is full time, 8.30-4pm during term time, starting in January.
• The appointed candidate will be working in Key Stage 2, on a 1:1 and small group basis
• You will be required to support pupils during lesson time as well as deliver some interventions to students.
• Experience with SEN is essential, as pupils have ASD and ADHD.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant you will:

• Experience with children in a UK primary school
• Enhanced DBS on the update service / willingness to undergo one

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• Need to have experience working with SEN in a school setting.
