We are looking for a proactive, committed, and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a school in Romford.

Key responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one and small group support to promote the learning, social, and emotional development of students with special educational needs.

Work closely with teachers to adjust and tailor the curriculum to meet the individual needs of each student.

Support children facing emotional, physical, or sensory challenges in fully engaging with class activities and school life.

Assist in implementing support plans and interventions for SEN students.

Foster positive behavior and social skills while ensuring that children remain engaged and supported.

This is a full-time position. Monday - Friday. 08:30 - 16:00
Requirements
To be considered for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant - Romford you will:
- Previous experience working with children, ideally within an SEN setting
- A good understanding of a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning difficulties
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well within a team
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Relevant qualification in childcare or special educational needs (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, or equivalent)
