Smart Teachers is looking to appoint a SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 child in a 3-form entry school in Slough.
About the role
•Role begins in January on a full-time basis and is for the duration of the academic year, starting at 08:30 and finishing at 15:30.
•As an SEN TA, you will be working with a Year 2 child with diagnosed ASD. This child is accessing the curriculum at Year 2, but struggles with focusing and often needs breaks throughout the day.
•The successful Teaching Assistant may also be responsible for working with children on a group basis. They will also assist with break and lunchtime duties.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant you will:
- Have a ‘child workforce only’ DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one
- No previous experience working with SEN required
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Have a DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one
