We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Learning Support Assistant to join a mainstream school in Havering.
Initial vacancy will be in Early Years.
Experience working in Early Years in a Primary school is required.
About the role
As a Learning Support Assistant you must:
- be able to manage groups or individuals from a class under the guidance of the class teacher;
- be able to work independently and take initiative to plan activities and tasks.
- be an excellent team player that is eager to share knowledge and skills with others.
Knowledge and experience working with pupils on the SEND register or with an Educational Health Care Plan would be beneficial.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of SEN Learning Support Assistant - Havering you will:
- Experience working in Early Years
- Have a good understanding of child development and a genuine desire to help children succeed
- Experience with PECs, Tacpac and other interventions is desirable
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Additional qualifications required in order to qualify for higher pay
