A primary school in Hackney are looking for a Teaching assistant to work in their reception class on a full time basis until the end of the academic year with the potential to continue from September 2025.

About the role
Working as a Teaching assistant in reception your roles will include-
-Supporting the class teacher where needed such as preparing lessons, assisting on school trips and helping with projects
-Supporting pupils with their learning in both 1-2-1 and small group settings
-Assisting pupils with SEN if needed
-Assisting class teacher with behaviour management
You will-
-Have experience working with children
-Be a confident individual who can work off their own initiative
-Be able to work as a team and have a passion for education
-Have experience in phonics
-Have experience working with SEN

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Reception Teaching Assistant you will:
- Have a DBS on the updated service or be willing to apply for one
- Be able to work full time, Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 16:00
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- High end pay rate will be for teaching assistants with relevant qualifications
Key responsibilities
As Reception Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for:
- Provide support to the teacher and assist pupils with their learning
