About the role
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the development of individualized learning pathways for students.
- Focus on life skills, communication, and independence in all lessons, ensuring that each child receives a tailored educational experience.
- Support and guide a team of educators to deliver engaging, play-based learning that fosters a safe and happy environment for all students.
- Implement and monitor the Equals Curriculum, adapting lesson plans to meet the unique needs of each class.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to shape the school’s ethos and contribute to the growth of this brand-new educational setting.

About the School:
- Specialism: ASC and complex needs
- Class Structure: Initially 5 classes with 8 students per class (40 total)
- Curriculum: Play-based learning centered around the Equals curriculum, focusing on communication, independence, and life skills (not National Curriculum-based).
- Growth: Initially opening with 20 students, with plans to expand to 40 students in the near future.
