Part Time Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated part-time teaching assistant to join our supporting team at a primary school in Dagenham. This is an excellent opportunity to positively impact the learning and development of young children in a supportive environment.

About the role

• Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities across the curriculum
• Assisting with the individual needs of students, including those with special educational needs
• Helping to manage classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment
• Supporting students in small groups and on a 1:1 basis when required
• Preparing classroom resources and displays
• Assisting with classroom organisation and maintaining a tidy learning space
• Monitoring and recording student progress as directed by the teacher

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Part Time Teaching Assistant you will:

• Enhanced DBS or willingness to undertake one

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• Experience working with children is desired but not essential
