Are you passionate about languages and eager to share your love of different cultures? We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join a successful 11 - 18 mainstream secondary school based in the heart of Islington
About the role
As an MFL Teacher, you will have the exciting opportunity to inspire students to explore new languages and cultures, equipping them with essential communication skills for a globalized world. You will teach one or more modern foreign languages, such as French, Spanish, or German, across KS3 - KS4 from beginners to advanced students.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering a dynamic curriculum that aligns with educational standards and caters to a variety of learning styles. Your role will include assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and preparing students for language proficiency exams, if applicable. In addition to classroom teaching, you will also have opportunities to organize cultural trips, language clubs, and other extracurricular activities that promote a deeper appreciation of the languages and cultures you teach.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of MFL Teacher you will:
- Proficiency in at least one foreign language (native or near-native fluency) and a strong understanding of the culture associated with that language
- Previous teaching experience, preferably in a secondary school setting, with a demonstrated ability to teach languages at various levels
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification
- Proven ability to differentiate instruction and adapt lessons to meet the diverse needs of students
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- a minimum of two terms experience with a mainstream secondary school
