I'm recruiting on behalf of an excellent Pupil Referral Unit School based in Crystal Palace. They are looking for a Maths Teacher to teach GCSE Maths classes at their Key Stage 4 division.
About the role
They offer young people who are experiencing challenges in mainstream school an intervention Programme to support their mainstream education. They also offer a full curriculum to those young people permanently excluded. This includes a range of academic subjects and vocational learning as appropriate.

In doing so it enables them to progress academically and become successful learners through the re-engagement of the young person with education.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of KS4 Maths Teacher you will:
- • Have a passion to teach outside of a mainstream environment, and a commitment to experience the unique opportunities of a special school
- • Have a kind, caring, and compassionate nature which is used to plan and deliver inclusive, fun, and inspiring lessons
- • Have a recognised UK teaching qualification
- • Have previously taken opportunities during ITT or otherwise to enhance your knowledge and understanding of children with SEND or PRU
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
