Learning Support Assistant

Smart Teachers are seeking teaching assistants to work in primary schools with specialist provisions for children with autism.

About the role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be working alongside a team of support staff in class, and you will be working on a 1-1 basis with students who have SEN.

The Successful Candidate Must

• Working knowledge of supporting children in a primary school
• Desire to take a supporting role in alternative education setting
• Commit to full time 8:30-4pm Monday to Friday

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Learning Support Assistant you will:

• Have experience working with children and/or adults with learning difficulties, ADHD, SEMH and Autism
• Have the ability to engage pupils in their learning and support them in their social, emotional and personal wellbeing

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• Experience working with children
