KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant needed from January to work for the whole academic year in a mainstream primary school in Tower Hamlets.
08:30 - 16:00 | Monday - Friday
About the role
A partner primary school in Tower Hamlets are looking for a 1-2-1 SEN TA to work in year 4 with a pupil with ASD (autism)
You should-
- Have experience working as a Teaching assistant alongside pupils with SEN
- Be able to commit to a whole academic year working full time Monday - Friday
- Be able to work off your own initiative with the pupil and be able to understand the needs of the pupil
- Be able to work alongside the class teacher collaboratively, communicating well throughout the day ensuring the pupil is receiving the relevant support
- Be patient, confident and punctual

The school is a one form entry mainstream primary school a short walk from Bethnal Green.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of KS2 Teaching Assistant you will:
- Have a DBS on the updated service
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Prior experience working as a TA
Key responsibilities
As KS2 Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for:
- Working alongside the pupil and supporting where needed
