KS2 Intervention Teacher – Specialist SEND Class

About the role
About the Role:
- Lead and manage a small KS2 intervention class tailored to pupils with sensory and communication needs.
- Support pupils working at P4–P7 (old P levels) / EYFS ranges 3-6.
- Foster positive, professional relationships with students to help them navigate daily challenges.
- Utilize PECS, core boards, and verbal communication to support pupils with diverse communication needs.
- Manage and support a team of five additional staff members.
- Plan and deliver tailored lessons, ensuring engagement and progress.
- Complete reports and maintain accurate records of pupil development.
About the school
The school are seeking a dedicated and resilient KS2 Intervention Teacher to lead a small specialist class of four pupils with sensory needs and significant challenging behaviours. This role is based at our Main Street site and requires someone with experience supporting children with complex needs.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- DBS on the update service
