Are you a tech-savvy individual with a passion for problem-solving and supporting innovative learning environments? We are seeking a proactive and skilled IT Technician to join our secondary school in Hackney.
About the role
As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintaining the school’s IT systems. You will work closely with the IT Manager and staff to ensure a seamless IT service across the school.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of IT Technician you will:
- Providing first-line support to staff and students, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Maintaining and managing the school’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and peripheral devices
- Setting up and configuring devices such as PCs, laptops, tablets, and interactive whiteboards
- Assisting with the management of cloud services and school software platforms, such as Office 365 and MIS systems
- Ensuring data security and supporting the implementation of GDPR compliance measures
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
