About the role
The School and Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a SEN Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join one of our SEND schools
The role would predominantly involve supporting pupils aged 11 – 17, but the successful candidate will be able to develop their expertise through working across the service as needed as part of our skilled, multi-disciplinary team.
They are looking for an outstanding, innovative, flexible and compassionate person who is willing and able to engage vulnerable children who have additional needs, in particular SEMH and ASC Needs
The successful applicant will be joining our creative, caring and enthusiastic team and will receive training to support you in your role and to further develop your professional expertise.
The desired Higher Level Teaching Assistant will:
- Have a passion to teach outside of a mainstream environment, and a commitment to experience the unique opportunities of a special school
- Have a kind, caring, and compassionate nature which is used to plan and deliver inclusive, fun, and inspiring lessons
- Have experience as a HLTA/ HLTA qualification

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
