We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a mainstream primary school in Havering. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with a passion for for education.
About the role
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to deliver dynamic and engaging lessons and activities for students.
- Offer personalized one-on-one support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring their individual needs are met.
- Assist in preparing teaching materials and resources, maintaining an organized and effective classroom environment.
- Cultivate a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages active student participation and engagement.
- Contribute to the implementation of behavior management strategies, promoting positive behavior and creating a respectful learning environment.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Graduate Teaching Assistant you will:
- A positive and flexible attitude, with the ability to work across different year groups and subjects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Enhanced DBS check will be required (or willingness to undergo one)
- Previous experience is desirable but not essential
