We're looking for a dedicated and eager full time teaching assistant to join the team at a school in Dagenham. For those who are enthusiastic about supporting children's learning and growth, this is a fantastic opportunity.
About the role
As a Teaching Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting classroom teachers with the delivery of lessons.
- Providing individual or small group support to students who need extra help with their work.
- Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of classroom materials and resources.
- Helping to manage classroom behavior and ensuring a safe and positive learning environment.
- Monitoring and recording student progress, reporting observations to teachers.
- Assisting with the planning and implementation of learning activities.
- Supporting students with additional learning needs or English as a second language (ESL), if applicable.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Full Time Teaching Assistant you will:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A current Enhanced DBS check or the willingness to undertake one.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Experience working with children, ideally in an educational or childcare setting
