Smart Teachers are pleased to be working with this hugely popular Independent school located in the leafy Surrey boarders. The school are looking a Food and Nutrition teacher to start from March and work with them on a maternity cover basis for 1 year.
About the role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Food Technology Teacher to join our vibrant Independent school in Leafy Surrey. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching food preparation, nutrition, and culinary skills, and will be dedicated to inspiring students to develop a love for cooking and healthy living. You will have the opportunity to teach Key Stage 3 and 4 students, preparing them for both GCSE and real-world applications of food technology.

The School is very popular and is located in the Leatherhead area of Surrey. The school does have onsite parking and a Lovely Lunch is provided by the school.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Food and Nutrition Teacher required for High achieving Independent school located in Surrey you will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications.
- A degree in Food Technology, Nutrition, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, nutrition, and food safety regulations.
- Experience in teaching Food Technology at secondary school level, preferably with GCSE experience.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire students.
- A commitment to promoting healthy eating and food sustainability.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
