We are seeking a qualified Flexible Supply Teacher to join our team in Barking and Dagenham, providing high-quality teaching across various year groups to schools in Barking and Dagenham and surrounding areas.
About the role
As a Flexible Supply Teacher, you will be covering a range of classes in the absence of the regular teaching staff, ensuring that students receive a consistent and engaging learning experience.
Your role will involve teaching across different year groups, depending on your expertise and the needs of the school. You will be expected to maintain excellent classroom management, deliver pre-prepared lessons, and provide support to students during their lessons.
The position offers flexibility, with the opportunity to work on a full-time, part-time, or ad-hoc basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons
- Ensure smooth classroom management and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Adapt to different year groups and teaching styles, working closely with the school’s leadership team.
- Provide feedback on student progress and maintain clear communication with school staff.
- Support students’ learning and well-being, adhering to school policies and procedures.

- Schools located in and around Barking and Dagenham
- Mixture of Local Authority and Independent schools
- Schools will request teachers for longer term bookings
- A number of schools have on site parking and/or located close to tube stations
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Flexible Supply Teacher you will:
- Have an enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Must have qualified teacher status (QTS)
- Flexibility and reliability, with a proactive approach to teaching
