As an English Teacher, you will deliver engaging and challenging lessons to students from Key Stage 3 through to Key Stage 5. We are looking for a creative and committed teacher who can foster a love for literature and language, encourage independent thought, and help students achieve outstanding results.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of English Teacher you will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
- A relevant degree in English or a related subject
- Experience teaching English at secondary school level, including experience with GCSE and A-Level students
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passionate about English and committed to inspiring young people
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- a minimum of one years experience
Key responsibilities
As English Teacher you will be responsible for:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners, in line with the national curriculum
- Teach English Language and Literature to students across KS3, KS4, and KS5
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing feedback to support their learning and development
- Differentiate lessons to cater to the diverse abilities and learning styles of students
- Contribute to the development of the English curriculum and participate in departmental planning
