- 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday – full time
This Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ Secondary school, based in Wimbledon are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to start after October half term. Working in this secondary school as part of an established team, you will be supporting pupils across KS3 and KS4.
As a Cover Supervisor you will be responsible for leading lessons of approximately 25 pupils in the absence of the class teacher. You will cover classes across the full range of secondary school subjects. The lesson will always be planned, and this will be provided in advance. It is your role as the Cover Supervisor to facilitate the classes learning, manage classroom behaviour, record accurate registers, and provide a handover to the absent teacher. Successful Cover Supervisors are adaptable, flexible, motivated, confident, and organised, they have a passion for education and supporting young people.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Cover Supervisor (Comprehensive Secondary School in Wimbledon) you will:
- • Experience of working with Pupils aged 11 to 16
- • A passion for the progress of Secondary school pupils
- • An ability to work as part of a team and flexible approach to support this schools requirements
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Experience working with students aged 11 to 16 in large groups
- Ability to manage a class of up to 30 students
