A primary school based in Hackney are looking for a TA to join them on a full time basis from September 2024, supporting a pupil with challenging behaviour.

About the role

You will be working in Year 4 in the morning supporting a pupil with behavioural needs. In the afternoon you will be working as a general TA, supporting where needed.

You should-

-Be confident working with a pupil with behavioural needs and understand how to support a pupil with such needs

-Have experience working with children

-Have a DBS on the updated service, or be willing to apply for one

-Be able to work off your own initiative and have confidence in your ability to support pupils and work as a team

The school is a one form entry primary school located in Hackney

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Behavioral support TA you will:

  • Have a DBS on the updated service
  • Be able to work full time 08:30 - 16:00

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Prior experience working with children

Key responsibilities

As Behavioral support TA you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting pupil in year 4 with behavioural needs
