Smart Teachers are pleased to be working with a High Achieving Co-educational Independent Secondary school located in the borough of Wandsworth. The school are looking to appoint a Art Technician to work with them on a Temporary basis. There is a possibility that for the right candidate the role could go permanent.
About the role
The role would involve the candidate working in partnership with class teachers, as directed, to support learning in line with the national curriculum, codes of practice and School policies and procedures. You would provide technical and administrative support, practical assistance and advice where required to staff and students of the School working flexibly across the Art and Design department. The Technician would support the teaching and learning of Art , by preparing practical activities within safety guidelines. This would involve preparing and the set up of equipment, materials and machinery as required. You would also be responsible for ordering and preparing resources. The role would be working 4 days a week Monday - Thursday

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Art Technician Required for High- achieving Independent school located in the borough of Wandsworth you will:
- A degree or equivalent education
- A - Level in Art or a relevant subject
- Basic Health and safety Knowledge
- Experience of Working within the Art field and the ability to set up and prepare for practicals
- Flexible and Calm
- A Enhanced DBS or the willingness to obtain one
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
