Smart Teachers are working with an Ofsted "Outstanding" school based in Redbridge who are looking for an Art teacher to join their team from January 2025.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Art Teacher you will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
- A relevant degree in Art or a related field
- Experience teaching Art at secondary level, with a strong understanding of the UK curriculum
- A passion for teaching and the ability to inspire creativity in students
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- a minimum of a years experience within a mainstream secondary school
Key responsibilities
As Art Teacher you will be responsible for:
- Plan and deliver high-quality art lessons to students aged 11-18, in line with the national curriculum
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where creativity is encouraged
- Inspire and motivate students to develop their skills in various art forms, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital media
- Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development
- Collaborate with the wider art department and participate in extra-curricular activities such as art clubs and exhibitions
