Experienced 1-2-1 SEN Teaching assistant needed to work on a full time basis in a mainstream primary school in Tower Hamlets.
Monday - Friday | 08:30 - 15:45

About the role
A primary school in Tower Hamlets are looking to appoint an SEN teaching assistant to work with a pupil in year 2 with autism.
The pupil will require support throughout the day including emotional, social and academic support. (No personal care required).
You will be working alongside the class teacher and SENCO ensuring the pupil receives all the support needed.
You should-
-Have experience working with children with autism
-Be able to work off your own initiative with the pupil
-Be able to identify pupils needs and provide the relevant support throughout the day based off these needs
-Have a strong understanding of ASD
-Be able to work as a team

The school is a two form entry mainstream primary school, they were rated 'Good' in their latest Ofsted inspection.
The school are looking for someone who can commit until at least the end of the academic year who is patient, caring and empathetic, with a strong passion for working with children with SEN.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of 1-2-1 SEN Teaching Assistant you will:
- Have a DBS on the updated service or be willing to apply for one
- Be able to work Monday - Friday | 08:30 - 16.00
- Have experience working with SEN
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Prior experience working with children with SEN
Key responsibilities
As 1-2-1 SEN Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for:
- Provide support to the pupil, whilst working alongside the class teacher and SENCO
